I definitely felt the same way around that time and did have mild nausea too. I would try and eat but it was always very bland food. My favourite was bean and cheese burritos. 😉

Oh no! That’s not good! That definitely wasn’t the case for me! Do you think you could handle shakes or fresh fruit/veg juice?

I’m 13 weeks tomorrow and one thing I’ve definitely learned is that both nothing and everything is normal. Anything goes – some women eat everything in sight, some women don’t want anything, some only want one really specific thing. Eat what you can and don’t worry about it unless your doctor says you need to!

@nutMeg13:  totally normal. Hope you feel better soon! The non descript food aversions are the worse.

I’m in the exact same boat, except that I’ve had very little appetite for a few weeks now (i’m about 10 or 11 weeks now too). I’ve just been trying to eat what I can and usually in small amounts throughout the day. Hopefully it gets better, that’s what they keep on telling me….

I ate less my entire pregnancy than I did before/after being pregnant. I wasn’t sick, just didn’t feel like eating.

@nutMeg13:  Absolutely normal. I went through the same thing. I’d think about food and get nauseous (no morning sickness either). I’d literally force myself to eat something, even if it was crap, and then I felt fine. It was just the thought that made my guts go, “Heck no!”

It’s totally normal. I’m the same way, nothing is appealing. On the bright side, you won’t get fat. Haha.

Normal for me.  I had no appetite whatsoever until the start of my 3rd trimester.  And then WATCH OUT.

That sounds familiar. Now I’m a ravenous she-beast if I don’t get a snack every 2 hours.

I’m about 8 weeks and have I have had no appetitie since I found out I was pregnant. I have lost about 8 lbs in the last 3 weeks. It’s kinda scary to be losing weight, but I do make sure I eat healthy (most of the time) and I eat something every day, multiple times a day, even if I don’t feel like it. All of this is very strange. I figure I’ll get hungry at some point and probably make up for lost time (and lost lbs)!

The first half of my pregnancy I was rarely hungry. When I would eat I would take small portions and could never finish.  It’s normal!
