I’m actually in the same boat. I have a maid of honour so far, but not sure who to choose for the rest of my bridemaids. My Fiance has 2 brothers & may possibly have my brother stand up as well.

Right now I’m seriously thinking about having my FIs brother’s wife & girlfriend be bridesmaids, we don’t spend a WHOLE lot of time together, but they will be family sooner or later!

If it were me I would have my brother stand by MY side.  Do you have any other close male friends?  You can always have guys on your side…they don’t HAVE to be girls.

Also, do you have any close cousins?  Aunts?  Even your mom can stand up for you. Break the rules!!

I agree with MzMarzipan, I’d have my brother stand on my side if I were you.  That way he will have his brothers and he will have his. It may look unbalanced but everyone will understand why.

4 groom’s men is totally fine, futbullchick.  The most important part is that the people standing there with you are the ones who support you as husband and wife. Who cares if it’s not traditional?  It’s your wedding…you can do whatever you please!  =)

It’s ok.  Or, you could have one of the men- did you say you have a brother?  Stand on your side.  You can do what you want/ need to do.

I’d have my brother stand on my side if I were you. That would give it a bit more balance. My cousin had her brother as her “maid of honor” even though she had a few girlfriends as bridesmaids and everyone thought it was so sweet 🙂

I also think your brother should stand on your side…I don’t think the all the brothers have to stand on his side because they are men.
