- Wedding: January 2014
I have a really lovely venue reserved for my reception (see photos below) and I will be using narrow long tables. There are already potted plants and orchids at the venue and I was thinking of adding just having a few (very) large floral arrangements as accents (think hotel lobby or NYC restaurant…) and then putting candles, water pitchers, bread baskets, etc. on the tables. I’m going for a more understated less wedding-y look, but has anyone been to a wedding without centerpieces? Will my future Mother-In-Law think it’s strange? would your grandmother approve? is it too nontraditional?
atrium – we will have seating for 40-50 guests and dancing here, coffe bar will be used as drinks bar ^^
The library where we will have cocktail hour (a floral arrangement in the entryway here may be provided by the venue)
Conservatory – seating for 50-60 guests, tons of potted plants and an amazing fountain. no ned for floral centerpieces – right?
Let me know what you think please!!!
