We didn’t have chair covers for our white plastic chairs. No one noticed, let alone cared.

I agree finding some nice fabric and just tying them will be enough. I went against chair covers for my wedding because I don’t care to spend the money on them. Lucky for me, the uncovered chairs are gray, which is one of my wedding colors, HA! But I also figure no one’s really going to notice… if they do, poo on them. chelseacg I think has a good picture idea.

$2 chair covers, free shipping. Still adds up, but half of what you were looking at.

Nobody will notice the chairs, unless you don’t have enough or they’re super uncomfortable. The ones you have are fine as is. I’d skip the expense and head ache.

Chair covers suck. I’d just go with the chairs you have, they look fine. Add a ribbon if you want, but not necessary.

I HATE chair covers and won’t be using them. $2.50/chair isn’t worth it to me

I notice chairs A LOT. They are the first things I notice. To be honest, I think those chairs are eyesore. I would rent white resin folding chairs. Not sure where you are but they are only around $2.50 per chair in my area. You might need to pay for delivery too but so worth it IMO.

However, I think most people won’t care. And this topic comes up here sometimes and more bees will say that they don’t notice them compared to those who do.

sassyspoonicus :  I bet people noticed. They were just too polite to say anything.

I hate chair covers. I used shantung sashes, tied in a bow. I bought some super cheap brooches off of eBay and pinned the center of each bow with a pretty sparkly brooch. The sashes were super cheap and the brooches were about $50 for 100. They were pretty much single use though. I broke nearly every one of them getting them off. Really gave a nice touch though!

ETA: You have the prettiest color theme I’ve ever seen. Love that combination!

merrymargaret :  Lol, no. They were too busy having a good time eating good food and celebrating a happy union to be persnickety about what their butts were sitting on. Chair covers are primarily for a certain ‘look’ than for anything a guest would care about.
