No children on save the dates or wedding invites?

nataliesawitch :  No not really, one of DH’s cousins decided not to come because of the no kids rule, and one of my colleagues did the same, but they were polite about it, and we were fine with their decision. You might get some people who decide not to come, and you have to accept that they have that right.

 I don’t regret putting it on the invite, we just put “with regret, we are unable to accommodate children”. I preferred to make it clear because having an adult only wedding was something that was really important to me.

We had no kids at our wedding and didn’t put the kids on the invite. The parents got the memo

I think the minute you send out save the dates everyone will be asking or assuming there kids can come. So either let them no up front or put something on the save the the date. If you have a no kids rule you have to accept some people may not go because of that.
