- Wedding: June 2013
My Fiance and I are having a strict “no children wedding”. Our wedding is a destination wedding (Santa Rosa Beach, FL). We do not mind if guests bring their children, but they won’t be allowed to attend the ceremony or reception. We have hired a child care company to care for their children at their condos (http://eleganteventsitters.com/)
Fiance and I pay $150, and the parents pay $14/hr the day of the ceremony.
We are including the childcare business cards in the invititations to give parents a heads up. Should we include them in the save-the-dates also so the parents can plan accordinging? The wedding is in June – save the dates are going out in August, invites in February.
Also, should we include a card explaining the childcare? Or let the parents who are interested contact us personally for information? We only expect this “no children policy” to affect 4-5 couples on the invitation list (of 120 people).
