@NotablySidedJP:  Too bad about no proposal *hugs* but sounds like you’re on the right track.

I agree.. I think photos somehow make the rings look bigger! I was expecting a lot when I tried on 2 carat rounds and they really don’t look that big. My ring size is 5.5 and I have long, slim fingers and they still didn’t look massive.

I think I am going to go w. a halo because I like the finger coverage, LOVE the sparkle, and round solitaires (even the 2+ carats) just didn’t do it for me.

i have small finger (size 4.25) and I know some people will call me ggreedy and

I understand everyone has a very specific style he/she likes when it comes down to erings

but I do like my ring flashy and big..  hehe

but instead of driving my SO crazy, I decided to look into double halo

and thank god I fell in love with this vera wang total 2 1/4 ct princess cut engagement rring center stone is 1ct but on my finger, it surely covers my entire finger

i love it that way and I don’t care what people say about my ring

you don’t have to have a huge center to have a flashy ring

@canarydiamond:  I agree! I tried the solitary ones! It’s just not me! I love halo! Especially double halo! For anyone who wants big and flashy ring! I def recommend it. The sparkle is breath taking

I kinda go back and forth with this. I have a big cusion cut sapphire halo with part infinity. It’s like 3 carats or something, very big ring, and I love it! But I get tired of it sometimes too. I work in a hospital and can’t wear it there, but I want something on that finger dammit!

Looking at bands now as I’m getting married in July and I think I’m going to end up getting a very plain band and just wear them separately. I love my e-ring but a change is nice sometimes too.

I think it depends on what type of ring you’re looking at. Something with a lot of side diamonds tends to look bigger than just a solitaire, in my opinion.

@NotablySidedJP:  It really depends on your finger size. You should definitely go and try different styles! you might be surprised that some of rings you thought you like don’t look quiet the same as you picture! that’s what I happened to me! I researched all onlines and when I actually went and tried,? oh no. !

keep us posted what you end up choosing! 🙂
