- Wedding: July 2012
Our reception is a dinner reception; we do not have a dance floor, we do not have a DJ, and we do not have an MC. I have not been worried about this at all until now. I could use some help with logistical questions:
– Should we still have someone (maybe a family member?) announce us when we enter?
– When/how should we do the cake cutting? When I say how I mean how do we announce it and let people know it’s time to cut the cake?
– What about toasts – should we just let the people giving toasts do it in their own time? None of them are particularly shy, so it’s not like they will sit there waiting for someone to invite them to speak up (unless we asked them to wait for their cue)?
In case it matters, it’s a very small wedding. About 45 guests.
