Random question ladies…..Does everyone have pregnancy symptoms early on? I’m 6 weeks and I feel completely normal. I’m not tiered, sick, tender…anything (and I kind of wish I was for a little reassurance!)
My 1st appointment is at 8 weeks on the 3rd and I’m eager to get in there and hear everything is going well.
When did you start feeling ‘pregnant’?

I’m 16 weeks now and I still don’t feel ‘pregnant.’ 🙂 I’m not showing yet and the minimal symptoms I had in my first trimester are pretty much gone. I was very lucky my first trimester and didn’t have any morning sickness, but I did get very tired and very sore boobs. That didn’t really happy for me until around 8-9 weeks because I remember it being after my first appointment. I felt the same way as you though, I couldn’t wait for my first appointment just so I had more clarification that this was real.

That’s pretty normal. Symptoms don’t usually start until between 6-8 weeks. But some lucky women don’t get many symptoms until they show 🙂

yep, I didn’t have any symptoms until around 8 weeks. All my june mommas were talking about how sore their boobs were, how sick they felt, etc. And I had none of it. And then I hit 8 weeks.
Enjoy it while you can! 🙂

Totally normal. I didn’t feel any different at 6 weeks. At 9 weeks, I started to get some nausea (never got actual morning sickness, luckily) and the fatigue had definitely kicked in at that point.

I am currently at 6w4d and don’t have any symptoms. I just started getting tired in the afternoons at work after lunch this week, but am usually more alert by dinner time.
I was worried about having no symptoms too, but had our first doctor’s appt today and got to see the little bean and hear his/her heartbeat! That definitely made it more real and made me less anxious. The risk of MC drops to 5% after hearing the heartbeat, so really happy about that.
Maybe we’re among the lucky ones who get to skip the 1st Tri symptoms? Don’t want to jinx it so FX!

@Miss. RubyLove: I got a little tired around 13 weeks I think? And really never felt anything else! I am now 22 weeks and will randomly get little twinges and kicks and nudges which are a really nice reassurance. I was like you though, I almost wanted to be sick so then I knew baby was still OK in there.

I didn’t have any symptoms that early and really most of the first trimester I had it very easy – minimal nausea and I did get tired but it wasn’t unmanageable. I definitely worried because I felt like I was “supposed” to feel worse or something, but I learned to enjoy it! And now at 22w5d, I have been on the couch for a month with sciatica that makes me unable to walk – so no early symptoms doesn’t necessarily mean you won’t get any down the road (although I hope you don’t get this one, it sucks!) Once you have your first u/s and especially when you start feeling your LO move you will feel more reassured, also =)

I was only hungry and tired at first, but I could have easily over-looked those if I hadn’t tested and knew I was pregnant. I ate a whole foot long from Subway (normally I only eat half and save the other half) the day before I tested at home, so I guess that was my first “sign” 🙂

With my son, I didn’t have any symptoms at all. Except for cramps that felt like period cramps in the very beginning. Also a few headaches from stopping coffee. But with my daughter I was barfing for 25 weeks. I wouldn’t worry. Every baby and pregnancy is different.

I’m 15 weeks and I felt awful weeks 7, 8 & 9. I had morning sickness all day, and was very tired. My morning sickness has stopped, but I am still quite tired.

I am 6w5d today and feeling really great – no MS, not tired, no food/smell aversions etc! My breasts have been tender to touch since before my BFP, but nothing crazy. Other than that… I’d have no idea. I know how you feel – I have my first u/s 1 week today and so nervous that something is going to be wrong… BUT… it is very common to not have any symptoms until later in your pregnancy, or not at all! Hang in there and keep us posted!

@StaceyA: Woah–I didn’t know you were pregnant! I haven’t been spending much time here lately, but congratulations! I’m so happy for you!
