I have  been to several weddings with no favors. Frankly, I was relieved there was no piece of junk that I had to pretend to forget to take home.

If you want to redirect your budget elsewhere, you go right ahead.

For sure you can have no favors. Can’t remember the last wedding I went to in the past couple of years that has had favors. They are definetely not missed.

Totally fine not to have favors. They are not a piece of areception that people will notice is gone.

I’ve never been to a wedding without favors, so I might be a little surprised when there wasn’t one. But it wouldn’t bother me at all. 🙂

With my previous wedding, there were no favors and no one seemed to miss them. This time, “Wildflowers From Our Wedding” seed packets are the favors – less than 50 cents a piece and since I teach botany (amongst other things) and we are having a garden ceremony, it seemed appropriate (and cost-effective).

I’ve never been to a wedding that didn’t have favors, it really is a wonderful way to thank your guests and people do look forward to them. However you could get away with not having them.

I am just doing cake pops made from timbits, super easy & inexpensive!

You’re fine. In many cases if it’s a knickknack it gets thrown out pretty fast anyway. You’re providing a giant party for people, that is enough of a favor. 🙂

We are doing no favors. From personal experience, alot of people don’t take their favors and the ones who do seem to only do it begrudgingly.

I would have loved to come up with a thoughtful favor, but there are too many other projects that I consider to be more important. Lastly, we didn’t register and didn’t ask anyone to bring gifts, so I don’t feel as bad I guess. Ha!

We didn’t have favors at our wedding, and no one missed them (at least to my knowledge)!  I have never thought twice about favors at other weddings I have attended.
