Awesome, more power to you! Your idea sounds great. We are also hoping to stay non-floral for all our decor and sticking mostly to candles. Might have some single roses submerged like this

I never understood the obsession with flowers at weddings… apart from the bouquet we aren’t having flowers (and im not sure weather to get an artifical bouquet or a real one then attempt to preserve it which sounds like a faff on)

We’re doing lanterns on a mirror stand with votive candles surrounding it. I didn’t want flowers on the tables either – I’m actually making paper roses for all the bouquets, I might include some on the tables but it won’t be the focal point. You could also use pine cones for that winter look!I love those pictures on pinterest.

We’re not really doing flowers either. I’m definitely not having a bouquet. I think we will have some stems on the tables but we’ll either leave it up to the venue, or just pop up to the supermarket /florist morning of to buy whatever they have that we like. Or go and pick some wildflowers.
Our venue has lovely candle holders for their tables and other than possibly bringing my own pair of candlesticks for the top table, we’re not doing anything else for the centres.
