I think wait until your actual shower before you start assuming no one is getting you gifts. I usually wait until the last minute to buy gifts for people!

Also, does everyone know where you’re registered?

In my experience people leave things til the last minute. I wouldn’t be too worried.

We’re 6 days out from our WEDDING and only ONE gift has been purchased! I wouldn’t worry. People love to shop at the last possible second!

@RebBride:  I know it’s tempting to stalk your registry, but try not to! Then presents can still be sort of a surprise, rather thank going into the shower knowing you are getting X, Y, and Z.

Many people just don’t have the space to store a gift for “a few weeks” – my first shower gift was bought about 7 days out I think. And there are others who may buy you things not on your registry (Victorias Secret stuff, perfumes, monogrammed whatevers, etc)

I work in a store that deals with wedding and bridal registries, and let me tell you the rushed look on peoples’ faces. Some people come in the day before, and some people even come the day of!

I’ve seen countless women dressed to the nines with cute little sons in suits running to buy registry items, and when I check the date, it is usually the morning of. No need to worry! 🙂

Rest easy…

That is pretty normal when it comes to Bridal Showers… lots of folks do their shopping in the last week (lol if not the last days, hours)

Hope this helps,
