As i have moved to be with my fiance in another country very far from my own I dont have any friends or a maid of honor. I have people Im becoming friends with but no one close enough who wants to help with the wedding.
I could travel back to my country to have a hens night but thats really expensive and lots of time to take off to do that and i rather go back at christmas. but i really feel like im missing out.
It feels reall horrible that I dont get it and have no maid of honor. I dont no what to do. I get so upset and jealous when i hear others like my sister in law getting her hens night and my fiance getting his but i dont get anything.
Any suggestions? Is it really that important to have one?

Have one at Christmas? I know you’ll already be married, but at least you’ll get to go crazy!

I won’t be having one. A combination of friends scattered all over the country, and Fiance and I not really going out drinking all that much since being in an LDR.
I figure I have had plenty of time to go wild with my girls. ( And I have 🙂 ) I really just don’t feel the need to have one at this point in my life.
I know not all hen parties involve “going wild” but with the friends I have around here, thats how it would be.

Have a hucks! Speak to your fiance’ and see if you both an organise something to celebrate with a few friends that you might be comfortable with. That way you will see some familar faces at the wedding too.
We had a hucks (hen+bucks), we went bowling and skirmish! 🙂

I don’t have a lot of friends so FH and I are going to have a joint bachelor/bachelorette party. See if your SO would like to do that. I’m sure he’d be more than happy to accomodate you and see you happy!
