@Mrs. Meowerson: Lol. I had a random girl be like “So what color are we wearing?” Um. First of all, you’re not even invited? Second, who the heck knows, my wedding is in a year and a half? (We know now, but didn’t then.) It’s kind of annoying, but you’re right. It’s a form of flattery. Lol

Aww, that sounds annoying. I can’t remember anyone nagging me about if they are BMs or not. People always asked me who they were, but I already knew. Goodluck and tell them to chill out and let you enjoy being engaged first! 🙂

LOL  I didn’t have anyone ask me outright but a few people dropped hints left and right.

A problem we ARE having though is people who assume they’re invited…those are ackward conversations I’m not looking forward to.

One thing that I both love about weddingbee and get a laugh out of at the same time, is that in one corner we have brides c/o”the rules”- aka etiquette surrounding wedding planning- and stating their intention to break the same ‘rules’; and ,,in the other corner we have brides c/o about people who don’t know and abide by good etiquette.

@Mrs. Meowerson: I was awkward and was like “Uh, I dunno. Haven’t thought about that yet.” Now I just sort of ignore the questions like that about being invited (we’re not having a large wedding) or who is in the bridal party (if you were in it, you’d know.)

@Mrs. Meowerson: Another one already? Wow. If I were you, I’d make myself unavailable for a while.

@Mrs. Meowerson: not at all!  “when did it become ok to ask if you were a bridesmaid?”- you were pointing out the poor etiquette of someone asking to be in the wedding party. On the opposite side , we have many bees c/o feeling pressured to follow “rules” themselves and outright saying they are not going to.
