Maybe the biggest victory EVER in my life? I’ve always been a curvy girl (and I mean that in the truest sense, even when I was a dancer in highschool and running a mile a day I was a size 10 in jeans with 36 DD boobs). Well after HS I maintained about a size 10 or 12 and then in my early to mid twenties started to go up and up. I hit 235 lbs (I’m 5’7″) in March and was like ENOUGH. I started dieting on April 9th and am right at 196 lbs as of today. I am in bridal size 12’s and size 12 skinny jeans and I am so proud! For me, a size 12 is not plus size but just kind of getting my body back to how it is supposed to be.
My FI has been amazing. He has loved and supported me through the whole thing and we have done it the old-fashioned way with a reasonable diet and lots of exercise. I want to get to about 175 for the wedding, but it is still a year off so I have some time! I just had to share. Here is my first set of before and after pics. On the left is April 9th, on the right is June 9th. Haven’t taken July 9th yet! I have probably lost another 10 lbs since the June 9th pic.

BTW, I would have to say that at a size 12, you probably broke thru from Plus Sizing to Regular Sizing quite awhile ago (that goes up to Ladies Size 18).
A size 12 is downright wonderful… I’m a 16/18 now, and would so LOVE to get down to a 12/14 for my wedding in 5 months time.
