(Closed) No more harpist; so how do I do the ipod or computer music thing?

Does the church have a sound system?  I know mine does.  Check this out; portable laptop speakers will only be good in a very small space.

Then you might be ok if they’re good speakers.  If you can test them out sooner rather than later that would be great.  Do they have any sort of liaison person for the church that could run your music?  Or are you having any sort of coordinator?

At my wedding, we had a DOC and her assistant worked the music.  Before that we were planning on asking my husband’s stepsister, as she is good with AV stuff and probably would have liked being part of the wedding.  I understand your hesitation in having someone getting up and down working the music.  See where you can set it up and if it’s possible to have them move as little as they can.

Good luck!  Sorry your harpist cancelled.  I’m sure your music will be fantastic anyway.
