i just went off mine too (1st April) – also excited but scared at same time! haven’t done anything yet to prepare except download a few apps on fertility to find out when I am likely to ovulate – making Darling Husband see a doctor too and I am going to (full check up).

I came on the bee today to say the same thing, we just found out our friends are due in October at a wedding this weekend (not theirs haha) and as we were falling asleep that night, my husband was like, well, guess you can just stop the pill now. Eeek! I think both of us were nervous about being the first people in our group of friends to have a baby, and now I’ll have someone to go through at least some of it with! (I hope the timing works anyway!) Baby dust to everyone!

Hello! me too! I went off mine a week ago…I have ‘Ovuline’ (which is a bit like Fertility friend I think) so I have an idea what my cycle will be like IF I go back to a normal cycle. I have my FX that my body won’t screw me around too much!!

I am also taking prenatals, it’s exciting and nerve-wreaking at the same time….It’s been so long since I have had a real cycle. I don’t know my body at all!

Are you having a break off the pill first before TTC or just going for it?

Best of luck to you!! Hopefully you will have a BFP ASAP!

I took my last pill this past Saturday!!!!

Started prenatals a few months ago. I will start charting after AF comes later this week – I’m 38 so the doctor wants me to have as much info as I can so we can make this happen quickly and as easily as possible.

I’ve been on BCP for so long that I have no idea how my body will react!

I’m about to finish my last pack – no refills left, so figured I’d might as well just get off them.  We were planning to TTC around now anyways, but Darling Husband got laid off, so we will hopefully not be having any accidents until he finds work!  I’m a bit nervous, but we’ll make whatever comes our way work.

I’ve been off the pill for 3 weeks! My doc told me to have one cycle off before we try so I’m currently in the midst of that. I actually would recommend charting right away because it gives you so much info. I haven’t gotten a confirmed ovulation date yet, but I believe it was on day 19 of my cycle, which is later than the assumed day 14 ovulation. I’m not sure if this will be normal for me, but I really enjoy having some idea what’s going on with my body. Good luck and have fun!

@NewYearsEve:  Good luck. I’m hoping to start trying early next year, even later this year

I think it’s best to let your body get back to it’s normal natural self after using the pill for so long before letting it go straight into another major change… i am not doing this but i should πŸ™‚

@NewYearsEve:  she told me to wait because sometimes the body needs time to build up a normal lining. I had really light periods on the pill. I don’t think it’s a *must* but I wanted to avoid a December baby anyway, so we are avoiding this cycle. If your doc says its fine, go for it!

@swissbride:  Hi! Going pretty well so far! I’m charting and it’s been a little wonky but I expected that. No bad symptoms so far, it’s been almost 4 weeks! I was certain I was going to break out really bad but nothing yet (knock on wood!) How are you??
