I don’t know if it’s the same as 30 Day Shred but I was so sore the first day!  It got better after the first time though!

I’ve always been told not to work the same muscle groups without a day break in between so it’s a good idea to take a break.

I also recommend her other DVD–the Boost Metabolism one. That will ALSO leave you sore, but it’ll help you vary your workouts and complements NMTZ nicely.

I did NMTZ this morning, oof!  It’s a doozy!  I love the part when she’s doing squats with bicep curls and says something to the effect of “I bet you’re wondering why I’m only curling 3 pound weights…” and I go, “Wait a second! Threes? I’m using fives! What the heck do I think I’m doing?!”

I’ve done NMTZ a few times now and it’s getting better but it’s still really hard–definitely a good workout.  I rotate that, Banish Fat Boost Metabolism, and the Shred, to get my strength training in; I mostly stick to running and walking for cardio.

It’s so validating to hear other bees say these videos are hard for them, too!  It feels really cheesy to work out to a DVD, but I’m really bad about fitting my strength training in, and the dvd’s help with motivation–knowing I can count it in my workout as “circuit training” helps, too 🙂
