Oh, no!  I read about the strike, and didn’t think too much about Twinkies going away because I’m not crazy about them on their own.  But I love them when they’re deep fried!

I thought the entire world supply of Twinkies was made in the 1950s and we’ve just been steadily eating through it. Had no idea they still churned those things out.

What is the point of a State Fair without deep fried twinkies?  What do they expect us to eat?   A woman cannot exist on corndogs alone.

@tksjewelry:  I said the same thing when i saw this on the news!  What the heck am I supposed to do without fried twinkies!!!

some other company will buy the brand and manufacture them, I am sure of it. 

there is a hostess factory near downtown in my city. you can smell the cupcakes when walking by!  it’s a really sad, run down looking building though. I always figured that a hostess factory would be all delightful and full of unicorns and happiness, but instead it looks like a place where cracked out people might hide, LOL!
