    I’ve always tended to stick to the boards.  If the boards are slow, I might go read some blog posts, but I’ve never followed particular bloggers.

    Now that I’m married, I don’t read the bloggers much at all. However, if something catches my eye, I’ll read through. I feel bad because I know they put a lot of effort into their posts, but I’m happy reading the boards.

    @TheFutureMcBride: I agree.

    When I first came on here I read ALL of them and followed all of them. Now that none of those are around, I don’t read at all anymore. 🙁 Unless I see a new post from an older bee – I’ll read those happily to catch up on my old favorites!

    I’m subscribed to the blog in my Google Reader, so while I do read the majority of the posts, there are only two bees I actually seek out, and that’s because I read their personal blogs before they were bees!

    Otherwise, though, I just glance through posts and then spend the majority of my time here on the boards.

    There seems to be a couple of bees per generation that I really enjoy reading…something about their writing style and/or their personality hooks me. But since I’ve now been married over a year, I read them just because I like their writing style and/or personality, not because I have any vested interest in wedding planning. I usually stick to the boards.

    There are a few bloggers whose writing styles I really enjoy, but I’m pretty much only here for the boards these days.

    I used to follow some Bees non stop. Especially the ones getting married around my wedding date/ at my venue/ my area.

    I just can’t get into the new bees anymore and it’s probably because I’m married.

    Yes I follow the blogger bees.  I started reading with the carnival generation so I’m trying to be patient to read all their recaps.  And of course now I’m hooked on the woodland bees also.  I too get really excited to see new blogger bees, they seem to post more frequently at the begining.

    I had been following the blog posts for almost 6 months before I realized there WERE boards. I love following the blogger bees! I have a few that I especially enjoy following, but I love them all.

    I’m still waiting for news on my application….it has been awhile since there was a new bee introduced and I am on pins and needles! 🙂

    I really just stay with the boards.  Sorry bee bloggers!  I will say that I’ll ocassionally peruse the blogs, but it’s mostly the bees that actually post on the boards that I’ll read.  I really appreciate when bee bloggers interact with the boards.  I’ve seen regular board posters become bee bloggers and sort of leave us which frustrates me.  I always appreciate it though when board posters let us know when they’ve become bees.

    @knvprincess143: I noticed that too and I am so curious about the new generation (fairy tale I think). You’re right; I think it is the busyness of the holidays. I used to only read the blogs and mostly lurk on the boards. I still read most of the blogs, but I do have my favorite bloggers. I get bummed when the disappear. I’ve been a lot more active on the boards lately.

    @beekiss: I agree – I like when they are active on the boards and also when they let us know they become bees.
