@allyfally:  Oh it was not pretty. I was like “Are you serious? IDGAF! What the hell is wrong with you?!?! I don’t keep some secret journal of your wedding plans you self absorbed freak” hahaha it was the wrong time for her to say that for sure

@Lalalanelson:

I feel the same about politicians/celebs who say “I apologise if anyone was offended” instead of just saying “I’m sorry”. Makes it sounds like the issue is with the person who took umbridge with their statement/behaviour rather than taking responsiblility or acknowledging fault in what they did or said themselves.

That being said, life never guarenteed we’d be free from things that give offense. Usually I just roll with it if it’s not something I feel is actively prejudiced, morally reprehensable, or threatening.

Lady: “No offense but are you sure you aren’t pregnant? Cos you really look like you are.”
Me: “No, I’m just fat, but thanks for paying attention.”

Yah, I hate being told I look pregnant when I’m not.

“No offence, but what happened to you? You gained a lot of weight. Sports do wonders”. It was said by someone who weights more than I do and was probably feeding herself with the fact that she’s not alone. I find it rather sad. I would never say anything like that to anyone.

Here goes another one, from before I got engaged, when I didn’t know my fiance yet. A cousin said: “Don’t you plan on getting married yet? You know time flies and you’re not geting any younger. My daughter (aged 9) will probably get married before you do”.

My conclusion: the world is full of fools.

“No offense but why is he dating you? Hopefully he’s not just using you for sex”

That one completely flabbergasted me. I mean I know ostensively that he is “Hotter” (I’m very “Cute” and have a great personality but lookswise he looks like a model and I’m ordinary). But jesus!

Also, we’ve been together for almost four years and we’re long distance so we see each other every four months. PRETTY sure he’s not just using me for sex.

This one came from a now former co-worker who loved to stir up drama. What a b!tch.

No offense but you’re not finished with school yet how much long are you going to take.

My response if you want to donate some money to me so I could finish faster maybe I would but until then I don’t want student loans so I’m paying it on my own.

Oh my god can I just say, I physically hate it when people comment on weight! It makes me furious. What do people think you’re going to do, turn around and say ‘I’m so sorry, you’re right I have put on weight and now that you’ve pointed it out I will endeavour to change my size beause your opinion means so much to me!’

UM NO. Shut up, i’d rather be chubby, than a rude, spiteful little human.

I have one! i guess I should say that I am a plus sized girl always have been. Anyway a coworker of my mothers said to me

“no offense but your husbands clearly not with you for your looks”

and for some reason I said this: ” of course not he’s with me for my insatiable sexual appetite”

which made my mom spit out part of her lunch. I still think it’s funny but who says something like that.
