Wow those are both beautiful! I think the second would be more fun and romantic to photograph though. I thought I wanted a more fitted and not poofy dress but was so happy I ended up poofy. The pics were so fun and beautiful

Obviously go for the one that gave you THAT feeling and made you tear up! You rock both btw!

I’m having a similar dilemmna. I LOVE a very simple, yet beautiful, fit and “flare”; however, I also love a very, very dramatic bottom of another fit and flare… My bridal consultant said something along the lines of – you only get married once, and you only have one day to be dramatic and wear a big dress (and have it be socially acceptable :P). The other gown (at least for me) could’ve been worn to a fancy dinner party. Yet, it’s more “me”. But then again, I want drama on my wedding day… The decision is difficult!

Point being. It’s a very difficult decision, yes… But ultimately, it’s only up to you! Are you OK with being understated, yet classy? Or do you want the drama of a bigger gown? They are both absolutely gorgeous on you, so I don’t think it’s possible for you to make a wrong choice!

@PinkPearls:  I still prefer the lace one (the non-geometric lace) from your previous thread! It looks like it was made for you!

I am making my own poll option… try on another dress. I loved the shape of first one you tried (the sexy dress) except for it being shiny satin. I’d love to see you in something more fitted like a drop waist, you have SUCH a gorgeous figure, if these are my only 2 choices then I like the ballgown better than the sheath you posted here, but I think your dress is still out there, I would try on more. Have you tried on this one? This is the shape i would picture you in:

Or this one that another bee has that I loved on her, one of my all time favorites

I think both are lovely but the second is my front runner!

The first one made you look like a goddess and the second one like a princess.  They are so different in style, it is hard to say one is better than the other.  I would pick the one that makes you feel more like yourself (ie suits your style better). I almost got caught up in the ‘oohing and ahhing’ of friends as well, but I decided to wait a few days so I can reflect on the dress without their persuasions.  I am so glad I did! Give yourself at least a few days to think about this without asking for anyone’s opinions.

I agree with another poster above who mentioned that the second dress appears to be sitting quite low on the waste and makes your torso look long.

lionsheart:  actually she’s already bought a dress…the wayyyy far back original watters dress, which was gorgeous! It was like 6 months ago and she was looking before that and pretty much every since then!
