@angb1230:  Ask them about it. And ask your family to ask around or spread the word. A lot of people don’t jump on it right away because they don’t know who is all doing what.

have you asked outright if anyone is planning one… maybe drop a few hints.  I think with so much going on right now, maybe they are financially strapped.  If you offer to help out, someone might be more willing to host.  I just can’t imagine your mom or a sister (if you live close to them or have a sister) would not want to plan a bridal shower or bachelorette party.

I feel your pain.I am in the same boat right now. I am gettting married in my home town which is 2 hours away from where I live now. My mom wanted me to have a shower so she offered to fund it if Bridesmaid or Best Man there local would plan it. Bridesmaid or Best Man said she was to busy to plan it but might be able to help. Talk to your mom or Future Mother-In-Law if your close. You could even explain to your Fiance how your feeling and have him drop hints to Future Mother-In-Law or Future Sister-In-Law if you will have one?

Hang in there sister. Of course your loved, if not you wouldnt be in need of a shower in the first place Wink
