julieloolie:  How late are you?  I would all your OB now, the worst they can say is no worries until you are x days late!

Any idea when you ovulated?

I am in the same boat! I am on CD37 which is NOT normal for me.  I normally have a 30 day cycle and don’t stray from it.  I have tested multiple times and negative as well. Super frustrating, if AF is just messing with me, it’s a cruel joke!

julieloolie:  You are probably just having a longer cycle than normal and ovulated later than normal.  If your period were really due you would have a postive test by now (or your period).

So that means you ovulated later than normal and your period really isn’t late yet.  But you can keep testing since your period hasn’t arrived it’s possible you could still end up pregnant.

I’d probably wait a week before calling a doctor.

I got several bfn’s leading up to yesterday’s bfp, on CD 36. I don’t know for sure since several years of BC messed with my cycles but I used to be average of 30-33 days. Do you track ovulation at all? If you ovulated later than you thought, your cycle could be longer than normal.

It’s common to have crazy cycles when coming off bc.. Even if your first 2 were normal. Your cycle is prob wacky from just getting off bc.

I think coming off BC can have unpredictable and lingering effects on your cycles. I had two short and sweet cycles off BC but then they got longer and longer (but still relatively reasonable) and my 6th cycle was 87 days long. So it’s possible your cycles are still fluctuating – keep testing periodically until you turn a positive HPT or call the doctor if you don’t get your period after 60 days (they may tell you to wait until 90 days). Good luck!

There’s no way to know if you’re truly late if you’re not charting ovulation. you would have a bfp by now if you were truly late and pregnant.

julieloolie:  those ladies also probably didn’t know when they ovulated either and their period probably wasnt truly “due” yet. Most likely they also ovulated later than normal that month and that is why they got a BFP 7 days after their “missed” period.  They ovulated 7-12 days later than what they expected

julieloolie:  not TTC but I’ve been off the pill 3 months and this period has been the worsstttttt. Like so heavy and awful it only lasted 2.5 days. Sorry if Too Much Information. But my cycles have also been erratic and unpredictable since coming off BC. Wishing you the best!

julieloolie:  AF come yet? If not what did you decide? I am on day 8 now of AF nowhere to be seen, I called my Dr. office today and I am going in to get bloodwork done tomorrow.  I am moving this weekend, so I would like to avoid any streneuous lifting if I am in fact PG. I would rather just know either way!
