Since you mentioned alot more CM towards the “end” of your cycle, perhaps you just O’d later than you usually do.  If my calculations are right, you’re on CD 34 today right??   It’s possible you’re just having a longer cycle  this time, but since you BD’d May 22, it’s still possible you’re KU as if you O’d that day or day after, you’d only be 7-8DPO and it’s not as common to get a BFP that early.  E’d  Test again over the weekend and if nothing you could make a drs appt to get some blood drawn

I agree with Kalamaz. Do you remember what day or days you noticed the EWCM? Count out two weeks from that date and that’s when you can expect your period or a BFP.

I agree with the other ladies.  It sounds like your body O’d later then usual.  My body is all over the place with ovulation so I’m no real comparison, but I O’d on CD25 and didn’t get my bfp until CD34, and even then it was VERY  questionable until CD36-37.

@loveroflove:  I felt the exact same way last month, and I was determined that I was prego…but then AF kicked my butt about a week and a half late.  🙁  If this happens often, you might want to tell your doc that you’re becoming more irregular just to get his/her input.

Periods can become irregular with thyroid issues too. Since this is a one-time thing, I wouldn’t worry much about it, but if you are consistently skipping periods, go have your TSH checked. Simple blood draw.

Honestly I think sometimes you just know.  2 days after my ovulation I caught myself thinking “I hope this isn’t hurting the baby” and then realized what I was thinking and correctly myself to “potential baby”.  It’s hard to say though because so many of the symptoms of pregnancy can be symptoms of a cold or coming AF or really anything.  It turned out in my case that my brain seemed to know before my body was ready to let me know about it!

I agree with Jules.  My Doc said “sometimes they just do that” (periods go missing) but she always checks a thyroid with blood test because that can mess them up -if the levels are off.

@loveroflove:  you can get a blood test to see if you are pregnant and they can also check to see if you ovulated. I would suggest that if AF doesn’t come by Monday. My BFF is pregnant and she felt off from the very beginning, she knew before the positive test that she was pregnant. Keep us posted!

I don’t think false positives really happen, so congratulations!!! How exciting! So stressful before but totally worth it.
