What length is the dress you picked?  It sounds beautiful.  If you love it I’m sure he will too.

He’s going to think you look amazing in anything you wear.  I know that sounds so dumb, but it’s true.  I went through the same worries with my Darling Husband when we had a similar conversation, and I promise you… on the day… he isn’t going to see anything other the woman of his dreams (in a dress), looking gorgeous (in a dress), walking toward him (in a dress).  The dress isn’t his focus!  Wear what makes you feel gorgeous and he’ll agree.

Honestly, IMO most guys don’t really care and will love whatever you wear as long as your happy.

Your dress sounds amazing. He will love anything you wear. When he sees you in the dress he wont even think about what he described of what he wants. He will just see you and how beautiful you look right then.

@Luckygal5571:  The model wearing it, plus about 8 other people in the entire world look good in that JA.  😉  I’m not saying you wouldn’t, but you chose your dress for a reason.  Tea length can be very hard to wear and I’ve seen a fair amount of people think they want tea length until they try it on – stick with what you love!!!!

Also, my AA dress came in in “Diamond white”, which I was told was just off bright-white and it looked like butter to me.  I had them send it back (for the color and many other reasons) to make me a new dress.  I haven’t seen their champagne… did you see a sample of it in shop when you ordered your dress?

Edit:  Your dress really does sound gorgeous.  What number is it?

I wasnt totally happy with my dress cause my one shopping experience was running of the brides and I kept seeing these gorgeous dresses here, but didnt bother shopping around anymore.   I liked it, but I just wasnt 100%.  Well, on our wedding day he kept telling me that I nailed it and it was such the perfect dress for me.  If you picked it and you think it’s ‘you’, he’ll love it on you once youre in it.

With the words “figure hugging” in your description, I’m sure he will love it. My experience is that guys aren’t always fashion aware. My fiance told me that he hated mermaid gowns. As I showed him pictures, I soon realized that he had no idea what mermaid actually was…he just based his opinion of all of them on one hideous gown. lol.

I know that he will love the dress.  Men are easy that way-you put it on, and it is mermaid style-figure hugging-he will die.  Promise.  I think you should go with your first instinct.  If you loved it then you will still love it and he will too.  Champagne is a lovely color and I don’t think it would look yellow at all.  Can you go back to shop and try on again for photos-they’ll totally understand.  I tried mine on four different times.

I can understand where you’re at, a bit. I asked my fiancee what dresses he liked, while I looked through them. I feel better/more beautiful when I know I’m wearing something that he likes. BUT, I know that he will love whatever I wear, and will think I’m beautiful no matter what – and so will your fiance. So although you may have major dress regret, you don’t need to worry about him not liking it. As long as you’re in it, he’ll like it! 🙂
