@SteidaBega: They do make biodegradable petals if using the real thing is the problem. You could have people just hold balloons along the aisleway, glitter, wave some sort of pretty hankies or sheer fabric?  thats a tuffy! you dont necessarily need them to do something after the ceremony, you could do something for your send off instead, after the reception? we did sparklers on our way to the limo, this was outside the reception hall and only partially on their property so we could get away with it! 🙂

@Sah Thanks!! Took a while to think of it… The rules at our chapel are crazy…but hey, it actually saved us a little money to not have a flower girl or rice/bubbles. The bells were very, very thrifty…Laughing

Oooh the lavender sounds like a wonderful idea.  I had trouble trying to figure out something for our vow renewal.  I know my little granddaughter would be disappointed if they couldn’t be our “flower girls” in Mexico.  So I am making a few small crepe paper flowers which I am sure they will want to pick up and play with!  It will add a little bit of Mexico to our day. (They are too little to blow bubbles).

We were suppose to do lavendar but it was left in someone’s car.  So, we just had ppl clapping.  To be honest, I liked it that way cause we had the ocean as our background and our family/friends celebrating w/ us.  It was perfect.
