I started planning before I got a ring on my finger. My ring took forever to make and since we knew we were officially getting engaged, I didn’t have any issues planning ahead of time.

@futuremrsk18:  I would start trying on dresses and find my bridesmaid dresses. If i found a dress, I would put a deposit on it to get it sent out.  They take about 6-8 months to get them in.  I thought i would find a dress I loved 1-2-3.  Didn’t happen.  I tried on around 60 dresses to find one I can live with.  Imagine that.  Im not saying it will be your case, but you never know.  After you have the dress on the way, when he pops the question you will be able to get married in as little as 3 months or as long as it will take for the bridesmaids dresses to come. :o)  Now won’t that be nice that you wont have to stress on what you are going to wear.  Also, I would start looking at different venues to eliminate what you do and do not like.  Keep a list.  Stay organized.  This way when the time comes, you can jump on it :o).  Best Wishes!

You can do whatever you want to do. If you don’t feel right with your friends not being supportive, go alone or with someone else who is supportive.

If he said to plan a wedding, then plan a wedding… Its not a ring that makes the engagement.

Go to the trunk show and ask people to come
