My husband always has a beard so it’s not really necessary and he’d rather keep his neck clean and whatnot to stay professional… I do prefer a dude with some good facial hair! ๐Ÿ™‚

I was horrified at the idea of no shave november when Fiance (then BF) told me he was doing it. We were long distance and I wasn’t going to see him until Thanksgiving. I begged him not to do it.

He’s had a beard ever since (kept nicely of course), and we decided he will keep it for the wedding! Well, he shaved it once two years ago, and I didn’t recognize him. He also looked about 5 years younger…. which was not ok considering we were 21 at the time.

@This Time Round:  I got my first donation; $90 away from going to the Vancouver Gala Parté, which will be outing #3 for my dinner suit, with two more coming up in December! You know you want to throw a couple bucks my way ๐Ÿ˜‰

My Darling Husband looks comically bad with a beard! It’s an adorable quirk of his. He can only actually grow a goatee/moustache combo.

He just doesn’t grow hair on his cheeks!

@BrandNewBride:  My kingdom to have a place on my body that didn’t grow hair.

People do it in Seattle. My Dh refuses to grow a beard, he’s never even grown a goatee! Not even when he was young! He says they itch.

I should greow my leg hairs for movember….

@CarolF:  Ive def seen it around here…my fiance gets scruffy time to time then ups and shaves and does it all over again, so it was never a “thing” for him.

The other morning, however, he picked me up from work looking like a porn star straight out of the 70s with a pedophilic moustache stating that he is now celebrating “Movember” I guess it’s for a good cause and all…but it’s not a look I think I can get comfortable with…lol. Luckily there are only 11 more days in the month… ๐Ÿ˜‰

No Shave November originated long before Movember started, just fyi.

NSN is big in the hockey community. Not sure if that’s where it came from, but it’s been happening for a loooooong time.

Fiance always has a beard. Love facial hair!

@CarolF:  Movember is pretty popular up here in New England. My Fiance thought about doing it this year. He wound up not doing it for some reason (I think he was a little nervous about shaving his beard off). His coworker does it though, so we donated to his team instead.

@MsJ2theZ:  I so want to do this now, but only if I can raise money and awareness for Prostate Cancer.

@djenah79:  It’s only for a good cause if he signs up and raises money ๐Ÿ˜›

@LoggerHead91207:  If it got long and bushy enough I could TOTALLY shave it into a beard looking form and then maybe someone would make a donation ๐Ÿ˜‰

@PixelMePretty:  I like beards more than the average girl but my fiance’s beard is unruley and going down his neck and is patchy in some areas..
