We moved into our house in May. I’m still nervous about sleeping alone (FI works 2nd shift).
Last night and now it’s been super windy. The wall right at the head of our bed was creaking SO LOUD all night! It woke me up WITH earplugs in 🙁 I seriously thought the wall was just going to collapse! Our house is only 9 years old. Ughhh, I got no sleep and work a 12 hour day today. PUMPED!! Planning to try to go the “silly-tired” route instead of the “bitchy-tired” route…

@Jw1724: Oh no! 🙁 Sorry to hear! Well, keep your chin up through the day! Maybe tonight you’ll be tired enough that you’ll have a solid night of sleep?

@Jw1724: I feel your pain! I didn’t fall asleep until probably 2, and woke up before 6. I could not shut my brain off! Completely dead today…

@Jw1724: Blech! That sucks! Have you tried the kind of earplugs that they use for swimmers, the kind that are moldable blobs of silicone? Those block more sound than foam earplugs do.
I can sympathize. I got a bad night’s sleep last night too, between just being in an awful mood (PMS I think) and the damn sagging mattress, and the cat shoving my Fiance into the middle of the bed and leaving me with 18 inches out of the entire width of a queen mattress. Gronk.

@pengoala: I hope so!!
@pineapplez17: Ugh yeah I think I fell asleep at 1am, woke up every 1/2 hour until 5am when I finally gave up and got up!
@Creiddylad: I haven’t! I only sleep with one earplug in, I like being able to hear if something happens- Fiance sleeps with 2 in.
I’m a bit better now but definitely dragging!!!
