I got several pounds of chocolate for Christmas. Not even joking. POUNDS. My parents gave me a bag of Godiva truffles, Darling Husband visited the fancy chocolate shop down the street, my cousin gave me a massive box of chocolatey deliciousness, and my in-laws gave me three boxes of Bailey’s chocolate (win!).
And then I got stranded in an airport for 48 hours. What did I do to stay sane? I ate chocolate. And lived in the airport bars and turned into a bit of a lush, but that’s a different story.
So then I got home, and theoretically I had the chance to go shopping and stock the house with nutritious snacks, but I immediately came down with ebola (because ebola, as you well know, is endemic to suburban Ohio and the Cincinnati Airport, and it as all the same symptoms as the flu). So I have no food in the house except chocolate. And chocolate, as you also know, is the world’s best antiviral agent.
That means, ladies, that I got several pounds of hips, thighs, and belly for Christmas. Boooooooooooooooooooo. But at least they’re delicious!
I’ve decided my favorite chocolates so far are the mint-flavored Bailey’s chocolates:
And also the stuff Darling Husband gave me from a local shop called Elegantly Chocolate. They make everything in-store, and it’s amazing.
I still feel like poop, so I obviously have not managed to snarf down enough antiviral chocolate. What are your favorite types, ladies? Tell me now and include pictures! Find me delicious chocolate and cure my ebola!

My cousin’s children gave me the flu for christmas, so I’m kinda in the same boat however I got stuck with a boatload of chirstmas cookies which are almost gone now. I’d have to say that my favorite chocolates are the 60% cacao lindt truffles Fiance got me a whole bag of them for christmas, but I’m saving them until the cookies are gone. I think it’s going to be time to go back to hibernating soon, but I don’t know when my houseguest is coming back, and I don’t want to lock him out …hmm

I’m sad. I gave several people Tervis tumblers for xmas, and I filled them all with Lindt Lindor truffles, of assorted varieties. No one reciprocated the chocolate yumminess! 🙁

Pretty much anything. I love dark rich fancy chocolate but will eat m&ms happily if they’re in front of me.
My favorite WAS a truffle made in house by an independent chocolate shop in Philadelphia that had chili pepper in it, but they’ve since closed and I mourn the loss.

I love good peanut butter melt-a-ways and truffles. Anything that’s not dark & bitter or a chocolate covered cherry or marshmallow is pretty good with me.
