I purchased a dress today (very reasonably priced) that is not necessarily traditional, but something about is said “buy me.” I am excited that my budget will allow for me to really tailor it/personalize it to make it my dress (since it was REALLY inexpensive!). We are not doing a ceremony in a church – will probably be at a park or local facility. Looking for ideas on veil, color theme, flowers for bouqet, ways to fancy up/”weddingize” the dress. All ideas welcome!

I think it will make an outstanding wedding dress! Maybe a bouquet primarily of white flowers and some sparkling jewelry!

I would have the straps either removed, changed to spaghetti straps or covered with lace when I was having my alterations done to fit the bodice. They look a little thick to me.
I might also consider having a lace bolero made.
I’m not sure of the color of the dress, but if it has a greenish tinge a bouquet of Lily of the Valley would be stunning. They will be in season in May.

That’s a gorgeous dress! I would probably team it with a rocking birdcage veil and maybe little lace gloves. I think a green bouquet or an all white bouquet would look stunning against it.
