Sorry for the dramatic thread title, but I am ecstatic right now. Totally underestimated our guests.
Not only have we recieved all of our RSVP’s on time (today was the due date) but we have a 100% acceptance rate!!? I am SHOCKED and very proud of our family and friends for not making us chase them around!
I was so NOT expecting this from our group, seriously I thought they were going to make me go mental when it came time for RSVP’s. I am going to upgrade and give them extra dessert for playing nice 🙂
Who else had their guests surprise them by no RSVP headaches?

@MrsRedPumps: Damn, that’s great.
Just a word of advice, though, don’t let last minute cancellations ruin your day if they happen. This is really good, though, and hopefully they will all show up!

WHAT????????? no fair. I wanna trade guest lists! lol.

Wow that’s awesome! I wish mine had gone like that. I had to track everybody down because a lot of people didn’t respond!

Agreed! Congrats that’s awesome, but last minute things do happen, so prepare not to get too bummed out if they do. For instance, I had 3 people who got the flu the day before the wedding (that’s what you get for having a winter wedding though, lol), one person got stuck at the airport w/ an immigration problem, another 4 international people RSVPed yes but then a week before the wedding realized that they had missed the deadline to apply for a visa and their expedited request was declined, one silly person got the date wrong and showed up the day before the wedding and couldn’t stay an extra day to actually attend (we invited him to the rehearsal dinner because we felt so badly for him)…so despite RSVPing yes, we had about ten or so “yes” people who didn’t actually attend in the end.

That’s insane, I don’t think I’ve ever heard of 100% yes & on time. Congrats!

Unfortunately, my experience was the opposite. We had a 25% response rate and had to track down everyone else. It’s been a nightmare. And only 50% of the people we invited are actually coming.

Ooh! Congratulations! I’m hoping for a similar effect since we’re only inviting 35 people. *fingers crossed*
Though, I suppose I better send out the invites first if I expect a reply! Haha
