I do have a wedding band, but I don’t wear my rings together. I wear my “wedding ring” on my left hand alone and my wedding band on my right hand by itself as well. I love the look of just one ring on a finger.

Mrschesin:

Some rings have matching wedding bands that are intended to maintain the e-ring’s infinite look.

I only have one ring! The ring that my husband proposed with is an heirloom ring that he had custom made with the center stone from my great-grandmother’s e-ring and the setting from his grandmother’s e-ring. I love the side detail on my ring and didn’t want to cover it up. Plus, I almost always think that a e-ring plus a wedding band on the same finger looks uneven, which bugs me. So I wore it as an e-ring throughout the engagement and then my husband gave it to me as a wedding band at our ceremony and I wear it now as a wedding band. Hasn’t been a problem in the slightest. Haven’t even had anyone assume I was still engaged.
