What about a celebrity marriage game? You guess which celebrity is married to which?  But they have to act out the celebrity first!

How about a game of Charades?  Break the group up into two teams and have a container with wedding related Songs and Movies.  That would be fun and active!

My friends and I play a game at our bach parties – you ask the Fiance a list of questions about his future wife and then she has to guess what he answered.

– What is your favorite feature

– When did you know she was the one

– What is your favorite date with her

– What is your favorite meal she cooks

You get the picture!

At one b-party, they found a huge survey. "favorite color, ice cream, memories, etc" and the grooom filled them out then emailed it back to the Maid/Matron of Honor. Then the bride had to guess all his answers. For every one she got wrong she had to put a piece of bubblegum in her mouth. Probably not the punishment you want, but it was funny b/c she could barely talk and strawberry gum colored drool was coming out of her mouth.

At mine, everyoen got me a pair of "honeymoon undies" (nothng crazy, just cute practical undies and pretty silk nighties) and i had to guess who they were from. It was tame.

So I’ve seen this played at a bridal shower, not a bachelorette party, but it was pretty fun (and quickly degenerated into a shouting and tackle game, the mark of any fun party game ).   Each person gets a clothespin at the start of the night, which she clips onto her shirt.  The object of the game is to be the person at the end of the night with the most clothespins.  There is a "forbidden" word (it could be bride, marry, wedding, etc.) that you’re not allowed to say – if someone hears you saying that word, she gets all your clothespins.  Trust me, it’s a fun time when one girl has 8 clothespins and eveyone else is hanging on to her every word!

We did the clothespin game except every time you touch your face…or hair…or neck….

Anyways we all sucked at it and the winner got a prize!

We did something similar to what Erindesmar is describing at my shower and it was so fun.  It was cute to hear my husband’s answers to the questions and I got to tell some funny stories about them to explain to everyone.

My sister and our best man co-planned the best Co-Ed Bachelor/Bachelorette party for us.  All of our wedding party are college friends and we were getting married on campus, so they arranged a boys vs. girls scavenger hunt all around town.  We got points for taking photos in front of our old apartments and hangouts, campus landmarks or with campus celebrities.  We had a specific time limit to complete all activities and couldn’t use any of our own money or our cars to complete the tasks.  Afterwards, we all met up at a popular campus outdoor bar, to compare our photos and tally up the game.  Even though the guys won, we had an awesome time AND got to meet our football coach!

If you know the area where your party is going to be held well, it might be fun to do some sort of competition/scavenger hunt.  I know we had a blast.
