I’m a big reader, not a big poster so I will try to keep it short and sweet. We are doing a destination wedding in Key West. FI and I are hosting a fun welcome dinner party instead of a rehearsal dinner at the house we rented the night before. There won’t be any kids, but there will be 5-10 people who don’t drink. I don’t want sodas or iced tea, but I am trying to come up with a non-alcoholic beverage option besides just water.
For the alcohol side of things we are just doing a choice between two islandy cocktails (rum runner or margarita) and also some bottled beer. So I was kind of going with that theme, and I am planning on having it in a glass beverage dispenser with a “name tag” along side the other two alcoholic choices.
What kind of islandy punch would you enjoy? Do people like limeade, or is that one of those things you have to have a taste for?

@weddingnerd: I don’t have very expensive taste, but we’re having fresh-squeezed, organic lemonade along with out sweet tea and water. No alcohol for us!

I just made a thread very similiar to this a couple hours ago.
Non alcoholic drink inspiration!
We are having 5 hlass drink dispensers, a coffee urn & water pitchers on every table.
For sure we are doing tea & pink lemonade, probably 1 fruit infused water, and not sure what else yet.
We are also having 2 punch fountains, and we’re going to do a strawberry punch for one, and some type of bubbly punch for the other.

Lemonade or Limade…really cool Limade is super refreshing. I became addicted to it in St. Lucia. Find a recipe that uses fresh limes though as the storebought freezer stuff is way too tart.
4C makes a really good peach iced tea.
All beverages taste better when serves up with style- sugar or salt rim, fruit garnish etc

@weddingnerd: Arnold Palmer? It’s lemonade with iced tea. For a punch, I would do a sunrise which is orange juice and pineapple juice mixed together with a splash of cranberry or grenadine for color.
A cherry limeade is more popular down here, especially the ones from Sonic.
