I’m trying to plan my sister’s bridal shower. She is a very unorthodox bride, and thinks many of the typical wedding-related traditions are embarrassing. I would like to still include some sort of "game" for all the ladies to play at the shower, something that is unique and not embarrassing for her?
Any ideas for non-cheesy games?

One of my best friends got married last year, and for her shower, we did a "20 questions" quiz of how well do you know the bride & groom. It was all really cute questions, nothing embarrassing, just stuff like favorite color, first car, how many nieces does B/G have, what sport did they play in high-school….

Hi! I made a previous post about this game I’ve played at bridal/baby showers. It was pretty fun (and quickly degenerated into a shouting and tackle game, the mark of any fun party game ). Each person gets a clothespin at the start of the night, which she clips onto her shirt. The object of the game is to be the person at the end of the night with the most clothespins. There is a "forbidden" word (it could be bride, marry, wedding, etc.) that you’re not allowed to say – if someone hears you saying that word, she gets all your clothespins. Trust me, it’s a fun time when one girl has 8 clothespins and eveyone else is hanging on to her every word!

i’m not sure if this is cheesy or not but it sounds like fun, it’s called the toilet paper wedding dress. Basically, the party divides into groups and one person is the model and the rest use a roll of toilet paper to make a wedding dress…i think the pictures will be hilarious!
