My father is from italy and he’s always wanted to dance to an italian song for the father daughter dance at my wedding. The song means a lot to both of us which is why I would like to dance to it. Is it inappropriate to play an Italian song if only 1/4 of those in attendance actually speak italian? Not sure what to do. And I also cant find an english song that I really like

Dude, you should totally dance to something that has meaning for the both of you, which in this case seems to be the Italian song. It’s your dance, not the guests’.

@silvyq11: Exactly!! My father’s from Italy, and 1/4 of the guests are actually his italian side (my mom is american and fi’s family is all american) but it’s more or less going to have A LOT of Italian traditions with it, including the tarantella dance…I think your english family and friends would have a lot of fun doing something different at a wedding! It’s all about you and your fi!!!
