@DanielleElizabeth: Yes it is so frustrating, because not everyone was able to get a plus one. We tried to give as many as possible and only asked for a name in return. I swear people don’t understand how difficult it is to coordinate a large group until it’s their turn. Ugh. Thanks for understanding and sorry you are going through the same thing.

@JrzyGurl: I love that Desperate Debby! That will be her name from now on. I ended up asking her to clarify if she would back out if she didn’t have a date. I also explained that I wasn’t trying to give her a hard time just that we have a raw space and wanted to get a final headcount for rentals and caterer. She finally responded that her cousin would go with her. I’m just looking forward to the big day now! 🙂 Thank you all for your advice, you guys keep me sane!

I would give her a TBD rsvp if she is really going to bring one. Say something like I can put a TBD guest for you if you are really bringing a guest. Please be sure that I a m not paying for an empty chair as we are already paying for a lot (obviously word it better I am not good about wording stuff until I go through it a few times.)
