After a year and a half of being engaged we are FINALLY at the planning stage!! I’m excited and nervous because I’m sure I will over look something!!
So my Mr. will be done with school in early May and we are HOPING he has a job by then (but he is top of his class straight 4.0 so I’m not too worried since ita a promising feild!). We are try to cut costs when we can because we will have a small budget of about $3,000 dollars! So I wasthinking of doing some sort of DIY thing for me and my bridesmaids to make and carry down the isle!! I was looking at silk flower bouquets and I like those, I also like the feather bouquets but I would like to see more options… Do you have any ideas for me and my lady’s to carry??? Can you show me pictures of your DIY masterpieces!? I would love to see them 🙂 please give me some fun, budget friendly ideas! Thank you!! 😀

I did my own with flowers from hobby lobby. It was around thirty dollars including ribbon and pearl pins for the stem. Darling Husband cut the stems for me since the metal inside was quite thick. I also made some pearl stems to incorporate.

There are so many ways you could go with this. Here are some ideas –
Pine cones, wheat, grasses
I almost did a beaded one like this –

@Roxykitten: I actually ended up not having one. It didn’t seem worth it to worry about making one for a few second walk down the aisle. I did silk ones for my BMs because they felt like they’d be awkward walking without holding something.
