This post is just for fun…
If your in the extreme heat would you rather have flawless makeup that does not look natural or light natural looking makep that may melt off your face? I choose flawless that does not look natural. I don’t care what I gotta do as long as my makeup sticks to my face and does not melt off. I can care less if it looks ‘heavy.’ What do you choose?

I am I’m going to have to go with option C: if it’s that ridiculously hot don’t wear make up at all.
However if were talking about for the wedding then I would go with flawless

Light makeup that melts away is horrible… any melting makeup looks horrible.

idk I find heavier makeup tends to more obviously melt off in the heat, probably because it looks so different from my natural skin that when it starts melting you can see the difference. I wear light makeup all summer and just blot and add powder when needed.

My makeup artist used Minerals makeup for the wedding. I think I still looked very nice at the end of the reception. It did not feel or look heavy. I am a big fan now.

Despite these poll options, there is light makeup that doesn’t melt away, and there is heavy makeup that looks like absolute shit the moment you start “glistening.”
My choice is to prime my face, do light makeup, and set it all with a setting spray (Urban Decay De-Slick and All Nighter are my faves). Stays looking pretty flawless even in heat.

TheGridMonster: this 🙂
only I got sick of spending $$$ on makeup setting sprays (I live in humid ass Florida so I’d go through them quickly) a quick shot of light hold hairspray keeps my makeup fresh till I take it off!

I voted for heavy. Estée Lauder Double Wear Stay-in-Place Makeup is my go to foundation.. stays in place all day…i spray some of my Urban Decay De-Slick on top and BAM good to go all day. I love it AND it doesnt feel heavy.:)

Option C: Estee Lauder Double Wear. That shit is bomb proof and isn’t heavy and doesn’t look cakey when applied correctly. It’s the only makeup I’ll wear when it’s hot and want to look flawless but don’t want to feel like I’m wearing a mask.
