Well I’m a cat lady and run a private feline sanctuary so cats seemed the natural choice for us. The pic below shows the front and the back.

sorry to hear that! Do you have a family friend or relative who could take some pictures of you and see if any come out better?

If not, I think these are just adorable! I am torn between photo save the dates and these. They are giving tree themed and it is a free template :

Giving Tree Save the Date Wedding Announcement for Fall

Have you checked out the Knot and looked through the Save The Dates they have to sell. There are some cute ideas there too.

Do you know what the outtakes look like? Maybe there’s a really funny one of both of you laughing or doing something funny.

I don’t know what you’re like as a couple, but a funny picture could give your guests a glimpse of how fun the wedding will be.

Did you also try the DIY section? There is a really cute text one on the front page right now. I would go with colors and maybe an image or motif you can think of you using in your wedding.

I hope you have a different photographer for your wedding! I would try your wedding photographer out before your wedding to ensure a better experience. We had a great time and we had my FI’s sister do it.

I sent out our save the dates before we took e-pics – I just used an old picture of us, no big deal!  I’m sure you have a picture archived somewhere of the two of you that you like!

how about finding a picture of you and fiance that is not professional and use it? I just picked a random picture that we took the other week at my friend’s wedding, and it looks great on our STD

We used a picture of our venue in place of a picture of us. I did however include a separate picture of us when I sent them out.

Ours didn’t have a photo… It’s a 5×7 postcard.
