I don’t want to do photo thank you cards, mostly because they take too long and late thank you cards are a HUGE pet peeve of mine. I’m having a really hard time coming up with a design I like for ours.
Show me yours 😀

I did something like this – it matched the map elements I had throughout my wedding (I did “thank you” in lower case instead of merci). Pretty simple, but it matched our wedding feel and I did not want to use a photo!
This was from Etsy – maybe look there for other designs you like or “fit”? I love anything monogrammed, too!

@LaughLines: I’m designing all our paper items myself and all of it is taking me way longer than I hoped. Obviously I have time for thank yous still, but invites are going out in a few weeks and I know we’ll be getting some regrets and I’ve been warned that gifts from people not coming may show up early and I want to make sure I have thank yous at the ready.

This was our wedding “logo,” which I used on address labels, thank yous, etc. I printed them from vistaprint, and didnt have thank you on them, so we could use them for other purposes in the future.

@rebwana: that’s a good idea. Make it a note card, not a specific thank you card.

@MsGinkgo: These are ours- they match our invitation suite (all telegraph style.) They’re on off-white cardstock with a dark khaki envelope. These are pretty big- same size as our invitations (much larger than our RSVPs) because the smaller cards needed 66c postage, but the larger and heavier ones didnt!
She actually included an additional red “stamp” graphic on the bottom left with our names and address as well.

@bkrocks13: that is gorgeous! I love it! Our invites are font heavy – not everyone’s taste I know, but I love font based invites, I”ll have to play with it and see if I can find something that ties in.
