Non sparkling diamond?

Research on pricescope getting your diamond recut. You can have that done and you’ll sacrifice a little bit in terms of size, but it will sparkle more and you’ll likely be much happier with it. That way you’re keeping the original diamond, you’re just tweaking it so it looks and performs as best it can.

Do you think he’d notice if you switched out the diamond for another, or even a moissanite? You could save on the side and replace it someday…

If there is anything at all that can be done, i would speak up.  Don’t let the money he spent go to “waste” on a ring that isnt satisfactory.  He may not have enjoyed spending thousands on a ring, but wouldn’t that be all the more reason to have done any research and understand what you are spending your money on?  I just can’t fathom just spending thousands willy nilly without understanding the product.  I’m trying to buy a new router right now which is only 50-200 bucks and I’ve been researching the hell outta them for a week and a half.
