I really didn’t want to go strapless on my wedding and I tried tons of dresses “some” with sleeves with lace and it seemed to overwhelm me. In a lot of them, I just looked like a dead grandma from the 1800’s.
Anyway, I settled on this dress that I loved and felt great in at the time but now that I bought it, I am having serious wedding dress regrets. I haven’t seen it since I tried it on that day, but then my friends sent me pictures of myself and I was somewhat disappointed. I think I mostly had a problem with my weight but I will go back in May for the fitting and by then i would have lost some arm and back fat.
I went with 2 friends who agreed with me on everything since they said my opinion mattered the most but now I feel unsure and would like to know in a few words what you guys think… just a couple of adjectives will do…. a part of me things its too simple or forgettable 🙁
Thanks for your Help!!!

The dress itself is beautiful and you look great in it! The neck detail is nice and adds interest. But I will say I think the ‘Illusion’ material would look better if it were a bit more sheer (that’s just personal preference though). The dress is beautiful and definitely not too simple or forgettable.

I LOVE this dress! I think it is classic and elegant–but definitely not boring or forgettable. Lovely!

That dress is stunning! I am thinking that once you have your hair/make up done and all of your accessories you will fall inlove with the dress again.

Honestly, I didn’t like the dress in the model photo, but I quite like it on you! This is a very classic dress that is going to look stunning in photographs for generations to come. You won’t have any issues with people laughing at your dress like I do my mom’s from the 80s 30 years from now. I would just say that it somewhat limits your styling choices, because I think you have to wear your hair up (to avoid looking overly modest) in a chic hairdo, but avoid the braid from the model photo since that is coming off a little yodel-y.

I think it looks absolutely gorgeous! The problem is, you’ve probably zoomed in and out, compared it to other people/photos/dresses, and you’ve looked at it so critically you’ve made yourself doubt your decision.
It looks like a dress a royal bride would wear- you look gorgeous!

The dress looks great on you! I actually purchased a satin dress that I fell in love with, but since I have a few more months till the wedding I can’t help but look at other dresses and feel regret! I feel like my dress is too plain but I just remind myself that I chose satin because it’s very elegant and timeless! 🙂

We are our worst critics. I would love to look like you in my wedding dress (I have what I call football player arms), so do not be so self-conscious. I think you look beautiful and the dress looks great on you…

I love it! Such a nice change from the typical strapless dress. 🙂 By The Way, I don’t see anything wrong with your weight or how you look in it. I think you look wonderful.

I think it’s beautiful! Absolutely timeless and elegant. Even if you don’t lose a pound you will still look lovely on your wedding day in that dress.
I adore the rhinestone accent at the waist and the rhinstone neckline. It’s not overdone. Just perfect.
The next time you wear it you will probably fall in love all over again.

You look like Grace Kelly in that dress. Very classic retro glam. If that’s your style, go for it!! Wear your hair in a smooth, elegant low chignon, and go easy on the accessories. A simple (not too embellished) cathedral veil would look stunning.
