Do you have a picture of what you just described? It sounds cute!

Something like this OP? My co-worker did something similar for her wedding (on a MUCH larger scale). Her cost was $1500 for cake.

She had 140 guests, but this was in the Bay Area so prices are a little higher here. YMMV depending on your location.

I just had bundt cakes of different sizes, on stands of different heights.

I thought they turned out pretty cute! I’m definitely not into the idea of a giant cake.

Yeah, more than likely it will be! 🙂 I am getting married in New Orleans and I’m looking at about $600-800 for 120 guests, but we are doing a very simple 3 tiered cake (so not exactly what you’re looking for) Love your idea though.

A11eycat:  I did that. So much cheaper than a tiered cake. I spent around $40 per cake. Each cake was a different flavor. I did minimal decoration. Just white buttercream frosting with swiss dots and I topped with a couple white gerbera daisy flower heads from the grocery store.

A friend had mini cakes (like an 8 inch square pan) they decorated and had at each table as part of the centerpieces.
