Hey ladies! I am trying to plan my best friend’s bachelorette party, and I’m basically stumped at the moment. She doesn’t like any of the typical crazy bachelorette party ideas (no bar tours, penis themed everything, sex toy parties, etc.), and the party will be in our hometown, which is in the backwoods middle of nowhere so there aren’t a lot of things around to do. I booked a condo for the bridal party for the night, and we plan to take her out for dinner before going to the condo…but what do we do at the condo??? Anyone have any fun ideas? Any and all suggestions are welcome! Thanks!

We had a spa party. If there’s no day spa near you, there are mobile nail techs and massage therapists in many cities who will come to you.
If you post the city you might get some really great suggestions from others in the area!

Or maybe do a throw back sleepover (like you would have had when you were younger). Play truth or dare, watch cheesy movies, paint each others nails, have a dance competition, etc…and obviously have cocktails (something you wouldn’t have done in elementary school haha).
My Maid/Matron of Honor is going to have similar difficulties I’m sure because I feel the same way as your best friend. I want to hang out with all my closest girl friends, but bar hopping, etc, just isn’t my style.

@fishbone: I didn’t think of a mobile nail tech or something like that…I’ll have to look into that! We don’t have a reasonably priced spa nearby, and we don’t have the budget for the one that is nearby AT ALL lol.
@OnThisDay: I LOVE the throwback sleepover idea haha! She would probably get a kick out of that.
Thanks for the ideas, ladies…keep them coming! 🙂

are there any craft/art type shops in the area? We had a great bachelorett party once that was also a card and notebook making party at an art supply store, it was in the afternoon becuase of some family obligations and it was a lot of fun.

I agree with the spa party. See if you can get a masseuse to come out, and maybe hire someone to to mani/pedis?

What about a pottery store? Recently my maid of honor threw my bridal shower at one of those paint a pottery places and it was a lot of fun and it got me thinking that was a great alternative for bachelorette parties. Is there anything like that in range of you or maybe one of those paint with a twist places where you bring wine and they help you paint?
