I’m in love with several rings from https://www.sofiakaman.com and http://www.annasheffield.com/collections/engagement. You could also maybe go with a unique shape (hexagon, kite, triangle, octagonal) or cut. I’m seeing alot of rose cuts now. Also raw diamonds and “galaxy” diamonds. Here’s another good site http://pointnopointstudio.com/collections/bridal. I know I look at rings WAY too much!

nouveaufields :  My Fiance had this designed and made bespoke for me 😍 it is a Teal sapphire with diamonds either side. I DEFINITELY didn’t want the centre stone to be a diamond! It looks different colours in different lights ranging from navy blue to forest/emeraldy green and I LOVE it!! ❤

I love the art deco feel of it, especially from the side view

This is   a picture of a ring in progress. Here is the mount. A natural brown zircon will be set in it.

nouveaufields :  aaawww thank you! Yeah I had strongly hinted that I either wanted a teal diamond or teal sapphire hehe! I just LOVE that peacock shade of blue/green! Boy did good! Hope you get something you love as much as I love mine ❤❤

It’s an old thread, but I love having a chance to show my ring off!

It’s a black onyx with ruby side stones and set in silver. We wanted something different and also affordable since we’re both students

No idea why the pictures are rotated…

Alexandrite and mystic topaz are both pretty high on the mohs scale and both very colorful

Fell in love the moment I saw it. Diamonds and Sapphires to be paired with an all sapphire band

Here’s my ering upgrade. It’s a petal halo. I’ve seen a lot of this style in a round but never in a pear shape

I don’t know if this is considerednon-traditional or not but this is the ring I am getting.
