I’m planning to do a non-traditional procession – mostly because (at the moment) we are opting to not have a formal wedding party. However, I want to honor my life long friends by having them walk down the aisle. I also thought it would be fitting for our siblings and their spouses & their kids to do so.
Here’s the order I came up with. I’m wondering if it makes sense. Specifically, how I’ve ordered the MOG to come in. (My mom is escorting me).
Order of entry:
Brother of Groom/Sister in Law of Groom
Sister of Groom (escorted by her niece (age 2) and nephew (age 6) of Groom)
Brother of Bride / Sister in Law of Bride (followed by their 2 girls (age 20 & 16))
Brother of Bride / Sister in Law of Bride (followed by their 3 kids (ages 12, 7, 3))
Sister of Bride / Brother in Law of Bride (followed by their 12 year old son)
Mother of the Groom, escorted by Groom (groom stays in front)
First couple of brides life-long friends (female friend escorted by male friend)
Second couple of life long-friends (female friend escorted by her husband)
Bride w/ Bride’s mom
Does that sound right??
