You should do whatever feels right for you and your fiance!  I really want to do that song from the beginning of Juno.

I think the recessional is a great time to pick something happy and fun and unorthodox. And Bon Jovi is the shiz. I say go for it!

Go for it! It should be fun and signature to you two. We played Stevie Ray Vaughn’s “Pride and Joy.”  Love it!

We’re thinking of using “another one bites the dust”. We’re both 32 and grew up listening to that song and it’s fun. I think it would really put everyone in a fun mood as they mosie on over to the cocktail hour (ceremony and reception are both on same site).

Signed, sealed and delivered would be cute too.

I think that it is great to have a fun recessional song..

We think we might do “Slide” by the Goo Goo Dolls (edit it a little though)

We are using “Kids” by MGMT, love the upbeat feel and I think it will kick off the evening nicely!

Recessional songs should say something about the couple, so if you like it, go for it. We walked down to “I’ll Cover You” from RENT, but really wished we would have stuck with “To the End” by My Chemical Romance. It would have been more us if we had.

@Carrot Cake: What a lovely idea! I have been trying to think of things that we can use to take the place of a unity candle. I think this is a great idea, and will actually MEAN something to us.
